oh I forgot to tell yaz..but I dont have to stay in bed anymore. I can even go swimming!!! This is because the baby can come, it will not be premature if it's born now. So I'm vewy happy.
Re: monitor. It works cool in the game and all, it's just that the resolution 1280x768 is terrible for the text in windows. it's all messed up, so I am forced to use the highest resolution which is 1680X1050. Using bigger texttype with that because I can't read anything if I don't...I know I'm getting old
Kay guys, see ya later I'm going to check some servers now, see if I can frag some..

Its still my opinion and also many others, If you wanna game you gotta have a good CRT. I dont care what anyone says ,the new flat panel monitors ,although alot better than they used to be, CAN NOT even compare in performance of a good CRT monitor when it comes down to gaming and watching movies and the like. Fact of the matter is YOU DONT SEE GRAPHICS DESIGN PEOPLE USING FLAT PANEL MONITORS. The people that make these games we play dont use them either. They all use 22/23 inch CRT monitors.

I use the IBM P97, very high end monitor. When I got mine they were going for over 400, they still run over 300 and they are discontinued. The max is 1600x1200 on my tank. I run regular applications at 1280x1024, but my gaming I run at 1024x768. I found that when I go lower, it is like shooting ants, hehe. Where's z00mer? Maybe she popped?

67.4 pounds and when i got it i had to also find a new desk which was a nightmare going to all stores that sell them within a 40 mile radius with tape measure in hand, so many desks just didn't have the needed room to support the monster and still have room for a keyboard, all in one printer, tsw2 wheel and all the other junk i cram on it. I picked up this monitor at a friggen yard sale less than a mile from my house, they were asking $100 and i jewed em down to $75, just looked on ebay they have 3 one is $59 with 2.5 days left on it must pickup also a lot of 8 for $480 an then a refurbished for $579 heres the specs www.docs.sony.com/release/specs/CPDG520P_mksp.pdf
Sony make some nice monitors but they tend to be on the expensive side for what you get. Things to look for in any monitor is the -Refresh rates ,supported resolutions ,aperture grille pitch ,screen type (flat or not) . personally I could never use a non flat screen monitor ever again.
I might shed a tear when I ditch this old Trinitron. If nothing else, they build them to last. I have a 19 in Trinitron Television my parents bought me in 76. I was 13. You want to have it a long time, Sony is a good one.
