Just wondered if anyone knew of a way that I can change the CTF colours as I have problems sometimes picking out models against there background due to my colour blindness. :[
I'm sure it's possible as I've heard people talk about it before, any help would be much appreciated

I don't know how to, never heard of it although I know a loooot about moviemaking and q3 ingame commands. Ye, somebody once talked about it, said he had green colors instead of blue, but me don't know how to.
i know bugger all about quake cmds and all that jazz, but does cg_enemymodel do anything if you're in a team situation like ctf? if you can find a green model or something maybe that would work.

Hey Red, I need more input, then I will be more than happy to. Are you talking all of your binds, just your name, what exactly? I await your response......

Well then, Hmmm, anything can be done, however this would be a very difficult thing UNLESS there is a program out there that does it that I am not familar with. This would involve skinning I believe. I went poking around in my pak0 file to poke a bit. I believe you would need to relace the team models in your pak file(s) without screwing anything up. The name would have to remain the same with the models, and even possibly the size would have to be the same. So when q3 would go and pull your models, it would see them as the same default models, when they aren't. Could you just pull out the red and blue models and edit the colors in them, then replace them? Probably. But as for a command that will just do it? There are none that I am familar with. This is a very interesting concept, I might have to look into this more for kicks and giggles. Good question R3D! Has anyone ever heard of doing this? If so, please do tell....

There are games that have it in them, q3 does not appear to be one of them. Someone should have thought about this in a point release...oooops.... still looking.
There is no particular way to change the colors of skins on a PunkBuster enabled pure server without playing a specific mod. There are mods out there that have what you are looking for.I dont particularly care for them because it makes everyone stick out like a sore thumb. Everyone is either florecent green or florecent red. I have color blindness issues myself. what I do when I end up in that situation is pick the easiest ctf skin for me to see ,then I use that one and use force player models.
Yep thats probably it.Try keeping your model intact instead of putting a diferent head on. Just use the base model. If That doesnt help I'm not sure what else you can do.
