I'm trying my hand at mapping in gtkradiant 1.5 but I'm having a real hard time getting circular objects in place. (Cylinders, platforms with a semi circle cut out etc etc.)
Any mappers here know of any good documentation that clearly shows how to do this?

I know one but it is in German only. The pictures sometimes already help you though, so look through it. home.arcor.de/q3michel/tutor/tutindex.html I would use Q3radiant 1.4, I tried 1.5 and some things are just worse there in my opinion, I forgot what. As long as it works for you, don't change.
Bubba is ok to some point but his tutorials are old and are a pain in the ass to try and figure out in newer versions of GtkRadiant. The newer versions dont work the same, particularly the way you bend brushes.Dont get me wrong some of his stuff is still useable,I still check there for some stuff. If you really want to learn about making maps go here - map-center.com/ .Sign up for the forum and get to know some of the mappers there, and you can go though the forum for answers to almost any of your questions. I use the newest version of GtkRadiant 1.5.0 .
