OK, I decided to try the new IE7, I am always willing to try new things. If you haven't tried it yet, I have only one thing to say, DON'T! This thing has more bugs than a dead animal. The browser, they made look like Firefox, ( I can see SnowMAN smiling about that.) My biggest UGH about it so far is that, when you click a link to go to something, it brings up a new window, the exact page someone was just on, not the new link, BOOOO!!!! I would include more issues, but I am done test driving this thing. Untill they fix the bugs, I am extermanating it.
If any of you feel that you HAVE to have IE to view some of your sites think again. Just install the IE TAB plugin for Firefox. You can render your pages in IE with a click of the mouse or you can tell it to render certain pages as an IE browser everytime.
For example....I actually run Windows Update in Firefox. I just have it set to render as an IE page.

HE is so smart. I never knew Ice Cubes had brains, whoa. I found his tab thing, I am going to try it. For the rest of you, it is here: addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/
IE is a complete mess, so full of bugs & still has security flaws from IE6
The interface looks bad, it installs & \or tries to run CTFMON.exe at startup & constantly while the PC is on (it part of Office that handles language bar's etc), turn it off by goin to control panel\regional & language settings, click the languages tab then the advanced tab & tick "Turn off advanced text services" & it be gone from startup & only be loaded if U use Office
I also found out that IE7's search bar needs the Indexin service installed on Ur PC to work, if U have removed it like me then the search box will just crash after U try to type a third character in it.
FF2 is much better now that FF 1x imho, still slow to load at first but pages now load quicker & tab operations are nippier & with adblock plus 0.7 & NoScript U are good to go one ahem dodgy sites (like Jeffer's bunny pron ones)
Of course i still say Opera is the much better browser than the above two
I haven't tried it and probably won't try it anyway, because the latest version for mac was what ... 5?
Anyway, when I had a white-old-crap-PC-box, I used IE only to check the designs I made and how they look like using IE. I've heard lots of people saying that IE 7 is pure bullshit ... And I belive them, because yea ... duh! It's Microsoft!
I cant get IE7 because of some wierd reason *cough*illegalwindows*cough*.....and i broke my firefox downloads(wierd way to say it) so im using opera for now....
havent tried ie7 tried to update my media player to 11 and got the not valid bs, got that taken care of cough cough and this is the funy part same message with tryin to update media player so i click link an goto micros site click validate an it comes back ok as i said it's taken care of lol but still can't upgrade media player but i am free to do any update checking an got numerous other updates, guess i'll keep looking for another crack err i mean just use 9 for now as i rolled it back so it would work and micro thought they were smart
