Well then after 42 Years of sharing good 'n bad, tears 'n laughs my wife's parrot pased away sunday at 5:30am. (+).(+) It was in a kind of statue-state all saturday long and during the night it became clear it would not see the sun rise no more. Weird thing how feelings go weird ways knowing that my wife's external hdd will not be anymore. She had it all her life from day of birth till now. Yesterday we picked a nice spot in the garden were we gave Jojo it's final restingplace.....
For me....well...for me a 22year long psycological war came to an end. God knows how many times I wished Jojo's ass on a planet called mars! What remains is an emty cage, a baseballbat, a tennisracket, a BB-gun and (my favorite) a teaser that have become useless

Ahhhh.... the joy of going through your loved ones pain. To be understanding, with no true nature of caring...to be supporting, while queitly celebrating...to no longer be civil when the winged rat shoots the non removable poo on the floor.... I am very sympathetic to your wife, send my condolences please....( as for you..... )

Thanks captain for a memory refresh witch was needed as it turned out.
To my opinion, in this particular case, parrots living in the same house as me will by definition, after an hour or so, be old enough to cross over, hit the corner, push that daisy or, if it sounds better, go astral.
