Hey peoples, I was out surfing Q3 clan websites as I usually do... a great way to start a day. Well, I haven't been to IDX's forum in a few weeks, so I dropped by. Now, I came across a posting by their main man McMazique. It made me wonder, is it true? I have never known him to be a Bullpooper, so I must take it for what it is worth......
[glow=red,2,300]Hello clanmates,
over 1 year this clan exists and in this time lot of members join and leave this clan to have a more or less good time.Lot of nice guys were here.
We played lot of wars with no big success but it was a good experience of all members who played this wars. But now in the last months lots of members get inactive or i lose the contact to them, It just dont be fun in this clan anymore. so and u know all if this happend its the best to close the clan how i do now. so a big thanks to all members who joined and stayed in iDX. It was a big and mainly funny time and i hope we all make experiences of this clan iDX.
I wish u all good luck for the future and dont forget it just a game dont take it too serious
Bye McMazique [/glow]Very sad thing. I know our clan won't last forever, more games come out, people lose interest, things of that nature. It's just, I remember when the NastyClan was started. It was kind of a " well, what is a clan, I could do that, hey dudes, lets start a clan". Thought it would consist of 4 people. Me, Nick, Missy and Klutz. However, was I wrong! People started to get curious about our little ring of hoodlums. Then, for whatever known reason, I got obsessed with taking the clan to the next level. I threw every spare moment into it. Learning, submitting, any and everything I could do, I did.... and it grew. I slowed down on my obsession...it grew more... I stopped my promoting... the damn thing still grew to what we are today. Now, I get people asking to join a lot. Part of me wants to let these people in to get that certain spark of a new member again. However, I have learned there are steps that NEED to be taken, or the entire house can tumble. Remember when you first started.. it was COOL! I remember each and everyone of you when you started. Some were just starting to play Q3. It was funny, you could'nt aim let alone railjump. Now you guys kick my butt.. unless my mojo kicks in.
I guess what I am saying is thank you for the past couple of years. I have truly enjoyed it. I hope we go on. As games come out, we should try them, expand if needed. I dunno, IDX just made me think. Take care and thanks again.
Your friend, Jeff
