I just have to say this to everyone cause is makes me very mad and I have to get it off my mind. I was helping someone with their computer yesterday, and I found out that they had Norton Internet Security thing on their computer. So I wanted to unistall it, cause I had another anti-virus to put on. So I unistall it and omg...........nothin would work. Tried to play music on Windows Media Player, didn't work. Some of the websites that we tried to go on, didn't work. Even though we were able to get on them before. So I look at the processes running in the background, and Norton was still there? I went to the registery, got rid of anything that had to do with norton. And there was still Norton crap running in the background. I went to the folder where norton was installed to, nothing there, but yet Norton was still running in the background. Rebooted, 3-4 times, Norton still came up? You know what, I think Norton sucks the big one.

I had the same problem a few years ago after trying a trial version Norton System works. I eventually got that peed off with it I wiped the computer to get rid of the booger drastic but it worked. Have you tried norton support you may find something there probally not but worth a look.

No i haven't but i should check it out, but I think I am going to format the computer anywayz. I use System Suite 5. Which is a really good anti-virus, well i find anywayz. I doesn't get right into your system and attach itself to things like Norton does. It is easy to use and doesn't bother u everytime u download something or try to do something. I find Norton to protective of your system, and doesn't give the freedom u should have.
