Let me sneak this in before Jeff sees this new thread......
I believe I posted this pic of my house last year, but since it's a little early for decorations I'll use it again. i like to keep it simple and traditional.......

JR, look at past threads, you have no idea what you are about to start. Trust me..... the Nasties from last year know that we ( as in Missy) is not happy until: 1-I blow myself up 2-We need new electric service just for decorations 3-We contact other intelligent life from space because they can see my house
It's too early for this. Please God, do not let Missy see this.....
On a serious note. Yes, we have a yearly evil unspoken contest with the man across the street from us. Last year he cheated. He waited until I would leave, then add 8-10 thousand more. This happened a few times, I could not keep up. We can not use all of our electrical equipment at night, because the 100 amp service can't take it. "More power Scotty!"
Not as into it as I was when my boy lived home, but I'll see what I can do. Too bad about the flood, we came REAL close this year with the Hudson. Few streets close by got washed out. I think too make it interesting Snowy, we should post our Snowmen also!!!
last year i was lazy and didn't decorate like i wanted to, i was building a large collection of things when i got my first house because i wanted to do the griswald tradition lol but i went threw a divorce that only took 5yrs to settle so i had to start all over as i am a man an well everyone knows woman get more than half don't believe the movies, i pay $130/wk in child support thankfully thats less than what i was paying 4.5 yrs ago but anyway i am slowly collecting things again and i need to either get this dig camera fixed or buy a new one although we just got new phones at work sportin a cam phone now, is early i probably wait until thanksgiving but then the game is on! I won't be beating Jeff by the sounds off it but the ideas in my head sure would lol

ok we will not see you on the servers for a while then. Thanks for the eh..heads up.
We can start decorating as from tomorrow, (today was sinterklaas party.) I have this rule 'no christmas stuff until sinterklaas has been celebrated' which is always the 5th of december.
i am behind, decorating usually starts thanksgiving day, just did the interior this past weekend, i didn't help much as i was aggitated an medicated from my head injury, now the weather is crappy cold lol seen flurries today, outside will probably be grim again this year

J.R., We understand that you are new here, so you do not fully understand what: "It has started" Truly means. I will be spending days, not a day, not a couple of days...but days of doing nothing but trying to fry our breaker box. The flood took all of my decorations away from me. And I do mean every last light is now somewhere around Harrisburg.... it all looked doomed for this year. I was OK with this. I mean, falling off the roof is not always a fun thing. So, what Missy did was to go and get me 1000 blood red lights, and some other goodies. I can almost hear her whisper in my mind, " go ahead Jeff, be the man you were always meant to be, make the house viewable from space...." Next, it looks like we might be getting our big loan. This means I need to start running new wiring from the breaker box. We will be getting thousands of lights if it does. I will dedicate power for the lights, only the lights, let there be light! The home this year, is going to be 100% blood red. Oh yes, RED. The yard, I am undecided, but we will see. It is a process, of artistic effects. I will be going through stages and phases of the process. [glow=red,2,300]LET THERE BE LIGHT!!!!!!!!![/glow]
